Fire Painted Metal Process
The copper sheets I create are painted using nothing but the flame of a welding torch.
Each piece is uniquely handmade and one of a kind.
This technique is called “fire painting.”
The small tip on the torch turns the flame into a sharp, concentrated point of heat—like the blade of a sword.
This “sword of fire” is my “paintbrush.”
In the right hands, and with the proper technique, fire can be used to paint a rainbow.
The scriptures I have chosen for my art are meant to help you reflect on the Greatness of God.
“Great are your works, O Lord!” — Psalm 92:5
